Celebrating 125 years, the
Merrill Inn House was built in 1878 by master builder
J W Fegan for Sir Edwards Merrill, a local attorney and
friend of Sir John A. MacDonald, Canada's first Prime
Minister.
An historically significant building for its unique architectural
style, the Merrill house was renovated into a charming
Inn in the 1980's.
The current owners, Edward and Amy Shubert bring over
40 years of combined hospitality expertise to the Merrill
Inn, and look forward to welcoming you.
