Some basic information for our guests

Room rates listed are per room, per night, and are based on double occupancy.

Additional people over and above double occupancy (including children 5 and over) are subject to a $30 per night supplemental fee.

All rates include a sumptuous breakfast and afternoon refreshments.

A two-night minimum stay is required on weekends during high season (beginning of May through end of October), and may be enforced on selected event weekends throughout the year.

Applicable taxes and gratuities are not included in posted rates. All rates are in Canadian dollars (CAD).

The Merrill Inn is a non-smoking environment.

The Merrill Inn is proud to use environmentally friendly cleaning products and strives to incorporate sustainable practices throughout the Inn.

Our staff makes the difference, and we are pleased to offer personal concierge services to help make your stay memorable.

Check in time is 3pm, check out time is 11am.

Traveling with Children?

Children are always welcome at the Merrill Inn. Children under the age of 5 stay and eat at no charge. Children 5 and older may be subject to a $30 additional fee if double occupancy is exceeded.


Our heritage inn has 13 beautifully appointed guest rooms, but rooms on the upper floors are not accessible for some disabilities as we do not have an elevator. Our front entrance has several steps, as does our rear entrance, and each floor is only accessible by stairs. Our dining room is on the lower level of the inn, and is a flight of steps down to access, both from the patio and the interior. If you have any issues with accessibility, please let our staff know at the time of booking and we will do our best to accommodate.

Pet Policy

As much as we love animals, The Merrill Inn is not appropriate for pets. However, we will be pleased to help you make arrangements.


As we are a small and intimate country inn and restaurant, each guest and reservation is very special to us.

A credit card is required to guarantee your reservation, and in the case of multiple-room bookings, we may require a deposit.

10-day Cancellation Policy

If you need to make a change to your booking, or cancel your reservation, please let us know as soon as possible. If your date of arrival is more than 10 days away, we are pleased to change or cancel your booking at no charge. If you need to cancel your booking within 10 days prior to your arrival, you will be charged for your entire stay (room and tax only). We always do our best to re-book your room, and if we are successful, you will not be charged.
